The Wolturnus W5 XXL have been engineered for strength and stability for active users who require a higher weight limit. Wolturnus have reinforced this frame with additional bracing so you can enjoy the optimal strength to weight ratio giving you the best energy transfer.
The Wolturnus W5 XXL range is manufactured with a closed box frame from 7020 aluminium, the strongest lightest aluminium alloy that can be welded, surpassing even titanium. The tubing diameter has been increased from 25mm to 30mm providing extra rigidity to improve strength and improve propulsion energy efficiency for you. The W5 XXL is built bespoke for you, in conjunction with their manufacturing department Wolturnus use CAD to design and optimise your frame. Selecting the strongest tubing diameter & shape to support you, they plan the exact bend angles and weld position to produce the strongest, lightest and best performance chair for you!
Supplied as standard with adjustable upholstery to make postural adjustments if necessary. Also available is the option to add a range of postural support products. As standard Wolturnus offer their own wing back and ergo seating to support your seating. You can also add a range of third party postural support products. Make the Wolturnus W5 XXL your own with leather and coloured upholstery options, and a choice of seventeen frame colour choices. They can even customise your paint colour, got a motto they can print decals for your frame and offer anodized frame parts to individualise the look of your chair.
The Wolturnus brand is synonymous with world class wheelchairs and sports equipment, built in Denmark just for you! They are specifically customised to suit you and your life. Due to the bespoke nature of the build, the Wolturnus range can take up to 8-10 weeks to build, but they’re well worth the wait!
