The Wolturnus Tukan is an open ‘L’ frame offering a lightweight active chair which can be easily transferred into the vehicle. Manufactured from aluminium 7020 the strongest aluminium alloy that can be welded you can be confident this frame is built to last. The Tukan has a propulsion weight from 9kg. It can also be manufactured with a choice of axle forms.
Confident in your frame setup? The Tukan is fully welded – with no moving parts, making it lighter, extremely rigid and robust ensuring all your propulsion energy is harnessed. Plus its compatible with a range of power supports. Wolturnus will even manufacture brackets for the installation of various approved products like the Alber, Decon and Klaxon power supports. Available with a fixed or folding back.
Supplied as standard with adjustable upholstery to make postural adjustments if necessary. You can also add a range of third party postural support products. As standard Wolturnus offer their own wing back and ergo seating to support your seating.
Make the Wolturnus T your own with leather and coloured upholstery options, and a choice of seventeen frame colour choices. They can even customise your paint colour, got a motto they can print decals for your frame and offer anodized frame parts to individualise the look of your chair.
The Wolturnus brand is synonymous with world class wheelchairs and sports equipment, built in Denmark just for you! They are specifically customised to suit you and your life. Due to the bespoke nature of the build, the Wolturnus range can take up to 8-10 weeks to build, but they’re well worth the wait!
