“Weighing from 4.9kg lifting weight the Nitrum is the most adjustable lightweight chair, Quickie have produced their most energy efficient wheelchair to date.

The Nitrum is winner of the Red dot design award 2022. The Oval shaped tubing developed from the Helium model is engineered to offer lighter tubing which is stronger than the standard round tube. Max strength tubing means you get more from your push.  Formed from high strength 7020 Aluminium the Nitrum is heat treated using ‘Shapeloc’ Technology which allows the tubing to be thinner and therefore reduces the weight further. The frame is hand welded for a more rigid ride and the new forged backrest bracket is rigidised for more energy efficiency.

The Nitrum’s new patented castor-link has decreased the weight of the chair and allows for adjustment whilst you are in the chair, so that your chair can be tailored to you for optimum handling. Quickie have also developed their patented ‘twist-lock’ backrest bar to allow you to fold and lock the backrest with one hand for loading and unloading. You can even manage this with sideguards and a low profile cushion on!

Quickie have introduced the block and tackle seat upholstery on the Nitrum, now its just one movement adjustment of the seating tension and it remains tighter longer!

The improved Compact brake EVO is now stronger and is more transfer friendly by selecting the Compact brakes you can save 180g in weight.

Quickie have developed user inspired features like the integrated LED lights on the castor forks to light up your life and the Freestyle back which allows you freedom of movement without the risk of catching yourself on the backrest post.
