myBlanket

myBlanket is the latest wheelchair rain cover design led and tested by wheelchair users. Designed to keep you warm and dry myBlanket is available in a summer and winter version, this blanket claims to be 100% windproof and rainproof – it can withstand water pressure of 10,000mm! The winter version has an added fleece to keep your lower body warm, and is manufactured in the highest quality material.

Designed for independent use, all you have to do is place the top of the blanket on your lap and tuck the specifically designed flaps under your buttocks. When you’re done with it myBlanket folds up into a neat compact size  that can be stored in the rain cover which is also the bag, then stow it on your chair back or behind your legs, whichever is more convenient! This blanket  zip fastens around your lower legs to keep out the wind and in addition the zip is magnetised to improve use for people with limited hand function. Plus it has cord pulls around the leg to ensure a good fit around the knees, there is up to 35cm of space for your knees.

myBlanket also has hand pockets and a secret pocket to store your valuables. The sturdy lap belt with a easy to operate soft push button is easy to fasten and keeps the blanket where it belongs.
