Designed to improve your little ones independence the Helio Kids has been produced in carbon fibre to be one of the lightest and strongest paediatric frames on the market. This folding frame is manufactured in high tensile T700 carbon fibre making it light and sturdy. From just 4.8kg transport weight (12×12″ frame minus rear wheelchair, brakes, armrests, anti tippers and footrest) the Helio kids really takes the work out of lifting for you. Motion Composites are pushing the boundaries of engineering for the wheelchair market, creating their range using innovative materials to improve motion; their aim is to enhance lives and freedom whilst revolutionising the way people see wheelchairs.
The Helio Kids is produced with a symmetrical moulded cross brace that reduces torsion and improves energy efficiency. This model has a rigid unibody frame which is stronger and requires less maintenance than most other models on the market. The unique folding frame helps to reduce the weight whilst offering a rigid ride reducing propulsion energy loss, meaning they can go further for longer. Designed to last and it grows along with you child and it only take seconds to increase the seat depth up to 3 inches in infinite increments for an exact fit. Plus the footplate is just as easily adjusted to suit.
Additionally a forged vertical axle plate offers precise wheel adjustment for maximum stability and responsiveness. In conjunction with the ‘evolve’ castor housing allowing infinite adjustments means that the Helio Kids can be set up to suit your child precisely. Plus the anti flutter systement on the castors gives your child the smoothest ride around.
With a massive range of colour combinations their chair can really be as individual as they are, whether they have a favourite colour or want to match their team they can really stand out in the crowd with the Helio Kids . Plus its available with the Newton Accessories range like coloured Airgrip handrims, backpack, stabilizer bar etc; why not accessorise with third party accessories: wheelchair cushions or specialist handrims.
