Decon E-Drive

The Decon E-Drive has been developed to simplify your life allowing you to experience freedom. Compatible with most wheelchairs the E-Drive allows you to propel when you want and switch to power to drive with the joystick. The E-Drive can be equipped to allow attendant control at the rear. Decon have launched the Simplex intuitive control making driving the chair easy for an attendant. The wheels can be quickly removed for transportation and weigh just 7kg each (with NiMH battery). A heavy duty version of the wheels is available for users up to 150kg. Supplied with 2 years warranty for your peace of mind.

How it works

The  Decon E-Drive is supplied with brackets which are installed onto your wheelchair frame. The wheels are powered as standard by NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride) batteries, however you can upgrade to Lithium-ion battery – both are approved for air travel (always check with your airline before travel). The centre of each wheel is equipped with the latest technology hub motors to drive your wheels. The joystick controls the power and direction of travel like a power wheelchair and can be mounted left or right depending on your preference. There is an optional swingaway joystick mount for easier transfers and getting close to tables/worktops. Decon have improved the joystick display for visibility in bright sunlight. The wheels are programmable allowing us to customise the product to suit you.
